When will my order ship?

Orders generally ship next business day but can take up to 3-10 business days depending on the size of the order. International orders, please add 2-3 days processing time. 

The molds says made-to-order, when will it ship?

We want you to continue to purchase our molds even though they might not be made and ready to ship. We manufacture in house and this allows you to purchase our coming days production so you can get what you need. Generally made-to-order ship within 3-7 business days, but depending on other orders can take longer. If you want an exact estimate please email info@moderncraftlabs.com and we will let you know your expected ship date.

How do I care for my mold?

A few tips to make sure you get the longest life from your mold. 

• Sharp edges, including fingernails, can slice or tear your mold. Wear thick gloves if you have long nails. 
• Exposing casting frame to temperatures over 100 F will warp or distort the frame. This includes sunlight. 
• When de-molding, please gently work the mold from the casting. While silicone stretches, over stretching can cause tears. 
• Clean your mold after each use with warm soapy water, this removes any residue left by the casting medium. 

Do you ship internationally? 

Modern Craft Labs only ships to US and Canada at this time. If you choose to use a freight forwarding service to ship to an international address you do so at your own risk. Please read our International Shipping Policy. 

I purchased a kit, can I get more concrete?

We do not sell additional concrete directly but please see our Guide for sources on concrete mix.

Do you sell just the casting frames?

No, we do not sell the supports separately. If your mold support is damaged please email images to info@moderncraftlabs.com.

How long will your mold last?

We use high quality platinum cure silicone. While we use the highest quality materials the physical life of the mold depends on how you use it and how often. We will offer technical assistance when we can but please understand that there are variables outside of our control to guarantee our product will work for a specific application, medium, or length of time. If you are planning using our molds in production setting, please know your silicone molds are consumable items. Silicone molds do age over time. It is your responsibility to research fully the medium you plan to use including strength, needed ratio, ease of use and impact on the silicone. 

Can I sell my castings?

Yes! Please understand, it is your responsibility to do your own research into the mediums, ratios, and sealers that will meet your own needs. The guides on this site are provided for general information only and any reliance on the suggestions is at your own risk.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

We accept returns on any molds in original condition within 14 days of receiving. Please view our detailed Return Policy. If you would like to exchange please email info@moderncraftlabs.com.

Do you make custom molds?

We do not make custom shape molds.

Due to demand we have moved many listings to offer a made-to-order once our in stock has been sold. If you need a quantity above what is available to order, please contact us to coordinate the order.

Do you offer bulk discounts?
